The working men and women of the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association would like to welcome you to the Haciendas – A Parade of Homes, the premier builder showcase of the Southwest.  The association has member firms in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Taos, Angel Fire and the surrounding area.

As you tour the unique and spectacular homes featured in this year’s Parade, we hope you will appreciate the contributions made by all the men and women who have created the homes in this year’s Haciendas – A Parade of Homes. It is not only the builder and architect who make it happen,  but also the stone mason, the electrician, the landscape artist and even the banker, the finance manager, and more! Gross receipts from the home building industry help fund parks, roads, highways water and sewer projects (the infrastructure of communities). The millions of dollars paid in wages and benefits are spent on goods and services in the local economy. Ticket sales from the Haciendas – A Parade of Homes and the many generous donations of the Association and its members have contributed thousands of dollars to local charitable organizations: Habitat for Humanity, High School Athletic Teams, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Girls Inc., the Boys and Girls Club, United Way, Agua Fria Children’s Zone, Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society, to name a few.

The members of the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association adhere to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Home Builders.

We believe that shelter, one of the most basic of human needs, should be within reach of all families who are willing to make home ownership a priority. The Santa Fe Area Home Builders Assocation is committed to affordable, safe, eco-friendly, quality housing for all Santa Feans. To that end, we are a proactive voice at all levels of government to address political, social, economic and environmental issues; and to promote strong and reasonable building codes, and building by licensed contractors.

The Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association is proud to hose the Haciendas – A Parade of Homes this August.
